Danny and AWK hit the UK last week for Vice’s 10 Year Anniversary party, check what went down in this video recap, and get some party survival tips from these two gents in the process.
Ain’t no party like a Fool’s Gold party… we celebrated five years of label-dom in style during CMJ weekend, taking over one of the Converse Rubber Tracks Live nights at Music Hall Of Williamsburg and bringing a bunch of our friends along. The legendary Ghostface Killah headlined alongside A-Trak, Flosstradamus, Donnis (who brought out Trinidad Jame$ and what felt like half of Atlanta onstage), World’s Fair (who did the same for NY with Flatbush Zombies and Tanboys), Nick Catchdubs, Troy Ave, Chase N Cashe, Ryan Hemsworth, the latest member of the FG fam GrandeMarshall and more.
See it all live in the video recap above, and check some great galleries of pics from Gretchen Roibinette at Brooklyn Vegan (our favorites after the jump), Loren Wohl at MTV Hive, Brook Bobbins and Focus Camp. Read More
We brought DAY OFF to Los Angeles last month, throwing our long running NYC bash in Cali for the first time ever. Suffice it to say… it was crazy! The whole fam was in effect, with A-Trak, Danny Brown, Chromeo, Cool Kids, Casey Veggies, Congorock, Oliver, Donnis, Kingdom, Nick Catchdubs and more performing in front of a few thousand of LA’s finest party people. And when it was all said and done, we threw an afterparty with the likes of Dave1, RL Grime, Carnage, Franki Chan… Good times!
Check the recap video above, and check some photos from the Cobrasnake (two galleries!), Shadowscene, Say Cheese And Die, The Source, Shout out to Adidas, Scion, iheartcomix, The Well, the Shrine Auditorium and everyone else who came together to make the first DAY OFF LA so fun! See you again next year… Read More
